He is translator (with Jeffrey Powell) of Martin Heidegger's The History of Beyng and (with Julia Ireland) of Hölderlin's Hymn "The Ister" and Hölderlin's Hymn "Germania" and "The Rhine." Julia Ireland is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Whitman College.
