He is author of The Renaissance of Jewish Culture in Weimar Germany and After the Holocaust: Rebuilding Jewish Lives in Postwar Germany.Derek J. Penslar is Associate Professor of History and Jewish Studies at Indiana University. He is author of Zionism and Technocracy: The Engineering of Jewish Settlement in Palestine, 1870-1918.
