Wilson D. Miscamble, C.S.C., is professor of history and former rector and superior of Moreau Seminary at the University of Notre Dame.Rev. Theodore M. Hesburgh, C.S.C. (1917-2015) retired in 1987 after 35 years as President of the University of Notre Dame. He was a leader in higher education and an advocate for human rights.
