    Md Saquib Hasnain (Ph.D) is currently working as the Professor and Dean, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, School of Health and Medical Sciences, Barasat, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He has over 13 years of research experience in the field of drug delivery and pharmaceutical formulation analyses, especially systematic development and characterization of diverse nanostructured drug delivery systems, controlled release drug delivery systems, bioenhanced drug delivery systems, nanomaterials and nanocomposites employing Quality by Design approaches and many more. Till date he has authored over 100 publications in various high impact peer-reviewed journals, more than 100 book chapters and 30 books to his credit. He is also serving as the reviewer of several prestigious journals. Overall, he has earned a highly impressive publishing and cited record. He has also participated and presented his research work at over ten conferences in India, and abroad. He was also a member of scientific societies i.e., Royal Society of Chemistry, Great Britain, International Association of Environmental and Analytical Chemistry, Switzerland and Swiss Chemical Society, Switzerland. Dr. Ibrahim M. El-Sherbiny is a Tenured Professor of smart nanomaterials and nanomedicine, and he is the Founding Chairman of Nano and Materials Sciences Programs, and the Director of the Center of Materials Science (CMS) at Zewail City of Science and Technology. El-Sherbiny earned his PhD from Massey University, New Zealand, then joined various research groups as a post-doctoral fellow at College of Pharmacy, University of New Mexico and Texas University-Austin in the United States. Then, appointed as Research Assistant Professor at College of Pharmacy, University of Texas-Austin, USA. Dr. El-Sherbiny received several honouring and local, regional and international scientific awards, including, for example, the Order of the Egyptian Republic in Science and Arts of the first class and an honor, the State Award for Excellence in Advanced Technological Sciences, and the Egyptian State Encouragement Award in Science in 2011. He also received two gold medals in addition to two honorary diplomas from the 46th International Exhibition of Innovation in Geneva, Switzerland, as well as a number of medals and diplomas from France, Malaysia, Romania, and the Gulf Cooperation Council, in recognition of his innovations in the use of nanotechnology in biomedical applications. El-Sherbiny’s research focuses on the design and development of new classes of smart nano- and nano-in-micro matrices using advanced nanotechnology techniques and evaluating these new structures as potential candidates in various biotechnological and biomedical applications including targeted and controlled drug delivery, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and biosensing. Dr. El-Sherbiny is the author/editor of two books plus contribution to more than other 30 books, and more than fifteen review articles. He is also a named inventor on more than 25 patents in U.S., U.K., Europe and Egypt. He is a member of different societies and associations including the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, the Biomedical Engineering Society (U.S.), the American Chemical Society (U.S.), the Egyptian Chemical Society, the Egyptian Society for Polymer Science & Technology, and the Materials Research Society (U.S.). Besides, he is the A. Editor of the long-lasting Drug Development and Industrial Pharmacy journal plus being an editorial board member of many other well-respected nano- and pharmaceutical journals. Amit Kumar Nayak (M. Pharm, Ph.D) is currently working as Professor at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences,Siksha ‘O' Anusandhan (Deemed to be University), Odisha, India. He has earned his PhD from IFTM University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. He has over 14 years of research experiences in the field of pharmaceutics, especially in the development and characterization of novel biopolymeric and nanostructured drug delivery systems. Till date, he has authored more than 138 research and review publications in various high-impact peer-reviewed journals and 135 book chapters. He has edited/authored 23 international books to his credit. Dr. Nayak has presented his research work at several conferences. He has received University Foundation Day Research Award, 2019 and 2022 by Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha. Dr. Nayak is a life member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) and a registered pharmacist.
