STANLEY A. RENSHON is Professor of Political Science and Coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Program in the Psychology of Political Behavior at the CUNY Graduate Center. He is also a certified psychoanalyst and senior clinical faculty member at the Training and Research Institute for Self Psychology in New York City. He is the author of numerous articles and six books in the field of political psychology, his most recent being the award-winning High Hopes: The Clinton Presidency and the Politics of Ambition. JOHN DUCKITT is a senior lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Duckitt has published widely; he is author of The Social Psychology of Prejudice and of numerous articles in major journals including: Journal of Social Psychology, Political Psychology, American Psychologist, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology and Journal of Clinical Psychology.
