PAT COX is Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Health at the University of Central Lancashire. Her previous publications focus on issues of child protection, and on the education of social workers. She is a member of the editorial boards of Social Work Education, Journal of Sexual Aggression and is also book review editor of the Journal of Sexual Aggression. - SHEILA KERSHAW is Senior Lecturer in Social Work at Liverpool John Moores University. Her previous publications include Confronting Prejudice and her current research interests focus on gender and sexuality. - JOY TROTTER is Senior Lecturer in the School of Health at the University of Teesside. Her current research interests focus on young people and sexuality.
