Beskrivning
This volume of primary sources charts the relations of the British and Irish presses with those of the United States, the British Empire and select other countries in the nineteenth-century. The emphasis of this volume is on race and the environment so as to make clear the extractionist assumptions, policies and politics that enabled the expansion and transformation of the British and Irish press. This title will be of great interest to students of History, Media and Literature.
