Pawan Kumar Rakesh is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand, India. He was previously the first Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at IIT Roorkee, where he completed his PhD. He holds multiple distinguished academic titles, including a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a DSc from London Metropolitan University.
