Dr. Jitendra Kumar Sinha is a neuroscientist and Associate Professor at the Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, India. He received his PhD from the ICMR–National Institute of Nutrition and has undertaken internationally collaborative research at institutions in Italy, Australia, and India. With over two decades of experience in research and teaching, his work focuses on the neurobiology of ageing and obesity, nutritional neuroscience, neuropsychiatric disorders, and neuropharmacology. He has made notable contributions to animal models of ageing and epilepsy, particularly in understanding oxidative stress, DNA damage, and biomarkers of accelerated ageing. Dr. Sinha has authored more than 150 research articles and book chapters and actively contributes to the scientific community as an editor and reviewer. He is also deeply engaged in mentoring and academic capacity building.Affiliations and expertiseSymbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), Symbiosis International (Deemed University), IndiaDr. Shampa Ghosh, PhD, is Director and Senior Scientist at GloNeuro, Noida, India. Her research focuses on neurodegeneration, neurodevelopment, fetal programming, epigenetic regulation, oxidative stress, metabolic influences on brain health, ageing, and neuropsychiatric conditions. She has expertise in molecular neuroscience and metabolic mechanisms, with research interests spanning biological processes relevant to brain health and psychiatric vulnerability. Her work encompasses the relationship between metabolic regulation, ageing, and neuropsychiatric conditions, with relevance to sleep-circadian biology, metabolic dysfunction, and biomarker research. She contributes to interdisciplinary research at the interface of neuroscience, metabolism, and neuropsychiatry.
