    Beskrivning

Jute Fiber Reinforced Composites: Fabrication, Characterization, Sustainability and Applications addresses the increasing need for sustainable, high-performance composite materials by exploring the potential of jute fiber as a natural, renewable, and biodegradable alternative to synthetic fibers. The book provides a detailed examination of the properties, processing methods, and performance of jute fiber composites, while also highlighting their innovative applications across industries such as automotive, construction, textiles, and green packaging. The book aims to fill a significant gap in the existing literature, by synthesizing the latest research, methodologies, and innovations related to jute fiber composites into a single, cohesive volume. Its unique approach includes addressing technical challenges such as moisture absorption and compatibility with matrix materials through surface treatments and hybridization techniques. The book also emphasizes the environmental and economic benefits of jute-based composites, making it an invaluable guide for researchers, engineers, and industry professionals interested in advancing the field of sustainable composite materials.

    • A holistic overview of jute fiber reinforced composites
    • Discusses detailed solutions to technical challenges
    • Covers growing conditions and harvesting techniques
    • Focus on environmental benefits and sustainability metrics including recyclability and lifecycle analysis (LCA) of jute fiber composites
    • Covers economic and market insights
    • Includes case studies of innovative applications in various industrial sectors
