Dr. Md Mahadi Hasan is an Assistant Professor of the department of Industrial and Production Engineering at American International University-Bangladesh, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He received his 1st PhD in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from the University of Wollongong, Australia, followed by a 2nd PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Anhui University of Technology, China. He has worked with composite materials and nanomaterials for over ten years. His expertise includes microstructural evolution, morphological analysis, mechanical and thermo-mechanical properties of composite materials and nanomaterials. He has published 35 articles including 11 in Q1 and 8 in Q2-Q4 journals (SJR), alongside 2 book chapters, totalling over 500 citations, with an h-index 10, and an i10-index 11. Currently, he is working on three book chapters on bamboo fiber reinforced composites. He published articles in International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing, Journal of Manufacturing Process, The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Tribology Letters, Composite Interfaces, Journal of Materials Engineering and Performance, Fusion Engineering and Design, Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology, and so on. Furthermore, he has actively participated in and presented his researchwork at several international conferences and has been a reviewer for over ten high-impact international journals, including Materials Today Communications, The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Journal of Materials Science and Metallurgy, Applied Physics A: Materials Science and Processing, Materials Today Communications, Materials Science, Journal of Materials And Design. Dr. Md Zillur Rahman is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He received his Ph.D. and M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and his B.Sc. (Eng.) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. His research focuses on fiber-reinforced composites, nanocomposites, hybrid and bio-composites, bio-inspired design, computational simulation, and processing-structure-property relationships governing the physical, mechanical, thermal, and durability performance of advanced composite materials, with particular emphasis on sustainable natural fiber and thermoplastic composite systems. Dr. Rahman has authored more than 160 scholarly publications, including peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters published with leading international publishers. He is currently editing several books with major publishers, including Elsevier, Springer, and ACS, and was included in the 2025 Stanford-Elsevier Top 2% Scientists list. Zhengyi Jiang is currently Senior Professor and Leader of Advanced Micro Manufacturing Centre at the University of Wollongong (UOW). He has been carrying out research on rolling mechanics with significant expertise in rolling theory and technology, tribology in metal manufacturing, contact mechanics and computational mechanics in metal manufacturing, numerical simulation of metal manufacturing, advanced micro manufacturing, development of novel composites, and artificial intelligent applications in rolling process. He obtained his PhD from Northeastern University in 1996 and was promoted full professor at Northeastern University in 1998 and at UOW in 2010. He has over 620 publications (more than 430 journal articles) and 3 monographs in the area of advanced metal manufacturing. He has been awarded over 38 prizes and awards from Australia, Japan, Romania and China, including ARC Future Fellowship (FT3), Australian Research Fellowship (twice), Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Research Fellowship and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Invitation Fellowship.
