Exceptional book that left me speechless
Sometimes you read a book that with the turning of every page keeps you reading and at the same time shocks you. I have been researching ancient civilizations and history for quite some time and I have come across many really great books but this one is in a class of its own. It is a book that is beyond exceptional and stunningly well researched. The reason why it is so good is that the author has managed to present so many connections between ancient civilizations by applying an incredible amount of evidence into a coherent and compelling whole. The quality of the research is so unique because hard evidence from academia, genetics, archaeology, geology, cosmology and ancient texts really shows you the obvious truth. It is right there in front of your eyes, obvious and incontestable. The fact that this book has more than 80 pages with more than 1,300 references is amazing. But pulling all that data into a coherent, logical and easy-to-read English whole, is something quite unique. The book takes you back 12,000 years and even further back to a civilization and religion that carried such a deep and secret esoteric wisdom, which was the most treasured knowledge of ancient civilizations. It describes the very reasons why the ancients built the megalithic sites like Giza, Stonehenge and Angkor Wat and why they aligned those sites to the sun. And I can state that it was not for growing crops. Although it is about an ancient religion, it is in no way the same as we see religions in our current time. The referred religion is a deep knowledge and personal practice to understand one's purpose in life and find your own answers. The reason will baffle and shock you¿but what is really nice is that everyone who would read the book has a culture, a tradition, a people from which they originate. Your own culture is connected in this, your own history is connected in this and with it, you can have a means to connect back to your own roots and understand what your forefathers did and where they came from. This book is stunningly personal and it connects to an ancient secret, treasured body of knowledge and metaphysical practice that has survived over eons of times and is presented anew today.
