"Herman A. Witkin is honored in this edited volume of 19 chapters that derive from a memorial conference held at Clark University in 1989. With a useful introduction by the editors we are again reminded of Witkin's enduring contribution to perception and cognitive style and how field articulation has informed so much research."—Psychoanalytic Books
