Recensioner i media
In this collection, Joel A. Tarr and his collaborators illustrate the many ways environmental factors have made Pittsburgh a singular city. But these essays tell us more than just how Pittsburghers made and remade their city along rivers winding through steep hillsides in an energy-rich environment. The many lessons contained in Renewal, Regression, and Revival will be instructive to scholars investigating any city.
