UK Airfields of the Ninth: Then and Now

This work looks at the airfields of the USAAF Ninth which were charged with the support of ground forces in the invasion of Normandy. The Ninth fielded a variety of aircraft, operating from over 60 airfields in Britain, and in this work these airfields are both explored and photographed.
