J. Irene Harris is a psychologist who has publicly shared her lived experience of a mental health challenge. She has been the lived experience representative for an American Psychological Association Task Force as well as chair of a community of practice for mental health providers with lived experience. Kate V. Hardy is a Clinical Professor at Stanford University and California Licensed Psychologist. She has specialized in working with individuals with psychosis for over 20 years across research, service development, and clinical settings. Shirley M. Glynn is a licensed psychologist who has spent her professional life developing and testing psychosocial interventions to improve life with serious mental illnesses. She is a past president of the American Psychological Association's Division 18 (Psychologists in Public Service) and received its Distinguished Career Award in 2020. Jennifer E. Boyd is a psychologist and recently retired Psychology Director at the San Francisco VA. She has publicly shared her personal experience with mental illness and founded the VA Mental Health Lived Experience Community of Practice. Her published works mainly focus on the internalized stigma of mental illness. Stephania L. Hayes is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Davis working to elevate service user perspectives in early psychosis intervention programs and research. She is a mental health services researcher, an occupational therapist, and peer support specialist with over thirty years of experience with recovery.
