Christopher Falzon argues in this book for a new way of understanding film as philosophy. Inspired and informed by the work of Michel Foucault, Falzon shows how a motion picture can operate not simply as a thought experiment but as a form of experience-centred, experimental reflection. Christopher Falzon is a Visiting Fellow in Philosophy at the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is the author of Foucault and Social Dialogue: Beyond Fragmentation (Routledge, 1998), Philosophy Goes to the Movies, Third Edition (Routledge, 2014), and Ethics Goes to the Movies (Routledge, 2018); co-editor of Foucault and Philosophy (2010) and A Companion to Foucault (2013).
