Beskrivning
This book addresses the pressing need for sustainable, ethical, and community-centered business practices by looking back to traditional cultural practices for solutions. It explores how values rooted in diverse cultural traditions — such as Ubuntu (Africa), Buen Vivir (Latin America), and Hygge (Scandinavia) — provide fresh perspectives on modern business strategies, especially those tackling sustainability, resilience, and social impact. Through a synthesis of theory and case studies, this book demonstrates how these values can transcend cultural boundaries to create business models that prioritize environmental harmony, ethical governance, and community well-being. This book bridges the gap between traditional and modern business practices. The book does not just focus on innovation from a technological perspective, it emphasizes the untapped potential of cultural wisdom. It uniquely integrates insights from anthropology, sociology, and business ethics to offer holistic strategies that resonate with both local and global audiences. Readers will gain an overview of how implementing these values practically in organizations of any scale or region can foster a new paradigm of ethical and resilient leadership.Designed for academics, business leaders, and policymakers, this book provides a comprehensive overview of how these time-tested principles can be applied in diverse organizational settings.
