    Beskrivning

This book presents a comprehensive overview of nano biosensors, highlighting their principles, fabrication techniques, and diverse applications in the detection and management of infectious diseases. It explores various sensor modalities, including optical, electrochemical, magnetic, and piezoelectric systems designed for detecting bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic pathogens. The book also discusses the role of advanced nanomaterials in enhancing biosensor sensitivity and specificity, alongside developments in point-of-care diagnostics, wearable and implantable devices, and lab-on-a-chip platforms. The chapters further examine the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning for data interpretation, antimicrobial resistance profiling, and syndromic diagnostics. Towards the end, the book addresses regulatory challenges, commercialization strategies, and future innovations, including CRISPR-based biosensing technologies.Key Features:· Provides foundational knowledge on nano biosensor principles, nanomaterials, and fabrication techniques.· Covers sensor technologies for detecting bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections.· Explores point-of-care, microfluidic, wearable, and implantable diagnostic systems.· Discusses AI-integrated biosensing, antimicrobial resistance detection, and CRISPR-enabled diagnostics.· Analyzes challenges in biosensor development, regulation, and clinical translation. This book is useful for researchers in biomedical engineering, nanotechnology, infectious diseases.
