Marek Jaśkiewicz is member of the Department of Automotive Engineering and Transport at the Kielce University of Technology since 2006. His research focuses on vehicle safety and the biomechanics of human injury in car crashes. Additionally, he explores the dynamics of machines, transport systems, and automotive diagnostics. Professor Jaśkiewicz has a prolific research career with over 230 publications.Rafał Jurecki received his Doctor of Engineering degree in Machine Construction and Operation with a specialization in Vehicle Dynamics and Construction from the Faculty of Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering at Kielce University of Technology in 2006. In 2017, he earned his habilitation degree in Transport from the Faculty of Transport at Warsaw University of Technology. Currently, prof. Jurecki serves as the head of the Department of Automotive Engineering and Transport. A prolific researcher, Prof. Jurecki has authored nearly 180 articles and holds 14 patents. His primary research interests focus on vehicle dynamics modelling, vehicle testing, driver behaviour research and modelling, vehicle diagnostics, and vehicle operation, including electric vehicles.Emilia M. Szumska holds a Doctor of Science in Transport from Warsaw University of Technology (March 2019). Her doctoral thesis focused on evaluating hybrid propulsion systems for urban buses. Since 2019, she has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Automotive Engineering and Transport at Kielce University of Technology. Dr. Szumska's research interests focus on electric and hybrid vehicles. She investigates vehicle dynamics and control, design and optimization, energy efficiency analysis, the impact of driving conditions, and life cycle assessments. Her contributions include 59 publications and a patent application.
