Beskrivning
This book employs men's football as a lens through which to investigate questions relating to immigration, racism, integration and national identity in present-day Sweden. Specifically, this study explores if professional football serves as a successful model of multiracialism/multiculturalism for the rest of Swedish society to emulate.

Recensioner i media

"African Footballers in Sweden is a highly original, exceedingly well-researched, and profoundly empathetic book. It should be required reading for scholars, students, journalists, and thoughtful fans concerned about racism, the causes and effects of immigration, and the role of sport in an increasingly global Europe." (Peter Alegi, Idrotts Forum, idrottsforum.org, February, 2016)
