MATT DAVIES is a Lecturer in the Department of Politics at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK. Previously he was an Assistant Professor at Pennsylvania State University Erie, USA and a Visiting Professor in the Political Science Department at York University in Toronto, Canada.
