Attention is increasingly being paid to the conceptualisation of the sustainable development agenda that should guide global development efforts beyond 2015. He has been a member of the United Nations Committee for Development Policy since 2007.José Antonio Ocampo is Professor of Professional Practice in International and Public Affairs and Director of the Economic and Political Development Concentration, School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University, New York. He has been Chair of the United Nations Committee for Development Policy since 2013.
