Jerry Aldridge is professor emeritus of education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is currently a representative to the United Nations for the World Organization for Early Childhood Education (OMEP). He has published over 200 articles and 12 books. Lois McFadyen Christensen is professor of elementary and early childhood education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her research interests include the social studies, social justice, women’s issues, inspired Reggio Emilia approaches and issues related to civil and human rights.
