Laurie Lewis is freelance writer and editor who moved to New York from the Midwest in the mid-1980s. After being a volunteer tour guide of Central Park for 10 years, Lewis became the owner/operator of Take a Walk New York Tours which offers scheduled and private tours of New York City..
