Costas Lapavitsas is Professor of Economics at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He is the author of many academic and non-academic works. His most recent publications include The State of Capitalism (with the EReNSEP Collective) and The Cost-of-Living Crisis (with James Meadway and Doug Nicholls).Larry Elliott was economics editor of The Guardian newspaper from 1996 to 2024. He is the author of several books including Fantasy Island and the Gods that Failed.Doug Nicholls was General Secretary of the Community and Youth Workers' Union 1987-2011, and General Secretary of the General Federation of Trade Unions 2012-2023. He was co-author of The Cost-of-Living Crisis and What to Do about It and other books on trade union and social history.
