Recensioner i media
For the reader whose primary interest is the history of the Channel Islands, the great merit of this book is that it explores and illuminates the context within which British governments formed policy towards the Islands. The contributions from French contributors (all published in English) introduce the local reader to the fruits of recent French scholarship. Articles covering the same period from the French and the British point of view complement each other.
