The routes vary in length from 2 to 6 miles and provide a great introduction for dogs and their owners to the superb landscape of West Sussex; exploring the high chalk grasslands of the South Downs; ancient woodland in the Low Weald; and scenic routes by the Ardingly Reservoir. There are plenty of opportunities for dogs to roam safely off lead in St Leonard's Forest, Houghton Forest or Hammonds Wood.
