The content is well balanced including a useful and concise terminology section on each aspect of MARRA, the issues surrounding each aspect and the strategies that can be adopted to meet the standards required from trainee teachers. Perhaps the biggest compliment is that it is destined to become a very dogeared and well-thumbed book, being a constant source of reference for teachers everywhere. Although primarily written for student and newly qualified teachers, I view this as a book that can also be read by experienced teachers in order to refresh certain principles.'
