Ralph Leighton is Senior Lecturer in Education at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Laila Nielsen is Senior Lecturer in History at the School of Education and Communication at Jönköping University, Sweden, where she trains pre-service teachers of history.
