Entrepreneurship depends on the decisions that people make about how to undertake that process; however, in recent years, entrepreneurship research has focused largely on the environmental characteristics influencing firm founding and the characteristics of entrepreneurial opportunities, ignoring the role of human agency. This book, therefore, focuses on how human motivations influence the entrepreneurial process.
