Her research primarily focuses on careers, graduate employability capacities and the psychology of retention. She has received several honorary awards for her research contributions to the subject fields. She is an honorary lifelong member of the Society of Industrial Psychology, South Africa (SIOPSA) and a National Research Foundation (NRF) B-rated researcher.
