Dr Bhanwar Vishvendra Raj Singh is an Assistant Professor in Geography at Mohanlal Sukhadia University, India, and a former Visiting Researcher at the University of Nottingham (2023–2024). His expertise spans climate change, indigenous knowledge systems, socio‑ecological resilience, and landscape ecology. He serves on the Editorial Board of Annals of the American Association of Geographers and co‑edits Springer’s Human–Environment Interaction series. Dr Amit Kumar Batar is an environmental scientist at the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES), Japan, with expertise in climate change, biodiversity, forest resilience, hazards, land degradation, Indigenous Knowledge, human–wildlife dynamics, and socio-ecological systems. His research integrates Earth observation, GeoAI, multi-factor susceptibility modelling, and governance frameworks (CEAA). He has published widely, edited volumes with Springer Nature, and served as International Management Officer of the International Long-Term Ecological Research Network (ILTER). Dr. Batar actively contributes to global sustainability and biodiversity observation networks, including APBON and GEO BON.Prof. Dr. Walter Timo de Vries is a Professor of Land Management and Land Development at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany. He is the Director of the Center of Land, Water, and Environmental Risk Management and an expert in land governance, geospatial science, and sustainable development. With extensive teaching and research experience, he coordinates international educational programs, including the Master’s in Land Management and Geospatial Science. His work focuses on responsible land management, policy frameworks, and innovative solutions for global sustainability challenges. Among his notable contributions is co-editing the book Responsible and Smart Land Management Interventions: An African Context (CRC Press, 2020), which explores innovative approaches to land governance and sustainability, particularly in the African context. Dr. de Vries is actively involved in various professional networks and editorial boards, significantly contributing to the field of land management and environmental risk assessment.Dr. Shailesh Yadav is an Assistant Professor of Geography at Seth RL Saharia Government PG College, Kaladera, Jaipur, India, Dr. Yadav specializes in agriculture geography, transport geography, and environmental studies. With a Ph.D. on the socio-economic impacts of transport networks in Rajasthan, he has published extensively on agriculture and urban sustainability, biodiversity, and disaster management. As a visiting researcher at TUM, Germany, he integrates multidisciplinary approaches into his work on rural development and environmental governance.
