Uwe Cantner is Professor of Economics at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Germany, where he holds the Chair of Economics/Microeconomics, and serves as Secretary General of the International Joseph A. Schumpeter Society (ISS). His research spans the economics of innovation, economic dynamics, evolutionary economics, and research and innovation policy, including policy evaluation. Currently, his work concentrates on economic transformation as a dynamic process driven by radically new technologies and accompanied by profound structural changes in both the economy and society.Bernd Ebersberger is Professor of Innovation Management at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany. His work lies at the intersection of managerial economics and management science. Currently, his research examines innovation as the foundation of corporate—and particularly sustainable—transformation, and as a cornerstone for shaping a desirable future.Patrick Llerena is Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Management, University of Strasbourg, France, and currently serves as President of the International Joseph A. Schumpeter Society (ISS). His research focuses on the economics of innovation and science, theories of the firm and organization, and science and innovation policy. At present, he is exploring creativity processes from an experimental perspective and developing an idea-driven theory of organizations and firms.
