A total of 42 scientists from seven Institutes, State Agricultural Universities, and two organizations have contributed to the third revised edition. The presence of a variety of vegetables, fruits, tubers, and ornamentals at a village market serves as evidence of the advancement in the science and art of horticulture. Furthermore, many educated youth are now pursuing horticulture as a profession.
