Holocaust, Israel and 'the Jew'

Prof. dr. Evelien Gans (1951-2018) held the chair for Modern Jewish History at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). As a senior researcher, she was affiliated with the NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies. Dr. Remco Ensel studied anthropology and history at the University of Amsterdam. He teaches cultural history at the Radboud University Nijmegen and is affiliated with the NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies.
