The contents are divided into two parts. Part A deals with the biochemistry of nutritient biomolecules including vitamins and minerals. The importance, physiochemical characteristic and regulatory properties of enzymes are also discussed to help in understanding the metabolism of biomolecules in human body. Part B deals with the physiological aspects of human body. The book is written in students’ friendly language and the contents are explained in tabulated and classified pattern. The subject is elaborated with the help of suitable examples and illustrations where required. The aim of the book is to give the students a solid foundation of the subject to conceive the aspects in systematic way with scientific approach.
