Mareike Hetschold (PhD candidate) is part of the METROMOD research team. Laura Karp Lugo (postdoctoral researcher) is part of the METROMOD research team. Rachel Lee (postdoctoral researcher) is part of the METROMOD research team. Helene Roth is research assistant at Institute of Art History at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, from which she obtained her PhD in 2024.

A merit of this volume is that it accomplishes its aim of covering a truly global range of what journalist Doug Saunders once termed ‘arrival cities’, all the way from Buenos Aires to Shanghai.
