Dr Muhammed Nafis Osman Zahid graduated in B.Eng (Hons.) Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2006. He received M.Eng.Sc. (Manufacturing Engineering and Management), University of New South Wales in 2008 and further studied at Loughborough, United Kingdom by 2015 in the field of Machining Process Planning and CAD/CAM. Currently, he is entrusted as a Deputy Dean of Academic and Student Affairs in Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang. Dr Amiril Sahab Abdul Sani graduated as Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) in Mechanical Engineering, Minor: Automotive Engineering from University of Applied Sciences Bingen, Germany in 2010. He received his MSc. (Materials Sciences and Manufacturing Engineering) from University of Kaiserslautern, Germany in 2014 and further studied at University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia by 2018 in Mechanical Engineering (Metal Separating Technology using bio-based lubricants). He does research in Metal Machining Processes, Tribology and Sustainability Assessment in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. His current interests include the production of bio-based metalworking fluids, ionic liquids as additives, nano-lubricants and minimum quantity lubrication technique as well as other related sustainable manufacturing projects.Dr Mohamad Rusydi Mohamad Yasin graduated in B.Eng (Hons.) (Mechanical) from the University of Auckland in 2010. He later on pursued his M.Eng (Mechanical) at the University of Auckland  and graduated in 2012. In 2019, he received his PhD from Purdue University, USA in the field of metal processing. He was formerly a mechanical engineering in R&D department at Texas Instruments Malaysia, where he acquired an interest in material science. He is currently a senior lecturer at Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering of UMP, focusing his research on metal processing techniques.Dr. Zulhelmi Ismail received his Diplom (FH) in Mechanical Engineering from Cologne University of Applied Sciences in 2011 and completed his  PhD (2017) at Universiti Malaysia Pahang. During his PhD study, he established a  synthesis method of almost defect-free of graphene from exfoliation of graphite in black tea and coffee by using a kitchen blender. Currently, he is focusing on the liquid-phase exfoliation of low-dimensional nanostructures that including graphene, carbon nanotubes and other inorganic 2D materials. His main aim is the application of these functional materials for the novel development of smart polymer nanocomposite, thin electronics, and bio-inspired electromechanical device.Dr Nurul Akmal Che Lah graduated in B.Eng (Hons.) (Materials) at University of Malaya in 2008. She received M.Sc (Materials), University of Malaya in 2010 and further studied at University of Oxford, United Kingdom by 2016 in Advanced Materials (Nanotechnology). She’s currently a Senior Lecturer at Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronics Engineering Technology at Universiti Malaysia Pahang  teaching materials engineering and advanced materials courses.Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Faiz Mohd Turan is currently the Dean of Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang. He holds Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). Dr. Faiz is a Registered Professional Engineer in Electronics with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, Chartered Engineer in Mechanical with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers UK, and Professional Technologist in Manufacturing & Industrial Technology with the Malaysia Board of Technologists. He has more than 16 years of working experience in manufacturing particularly in design with several multinational companies in Japan and Malaysia before joining academia. He has authored more than 50 technicalpapers and received more than 30 innovation awards nationally and internationally.
