Dr. Selena is an educational developer/learning designer/academic capability developer at Te Pūkenga / Ara institute of Canterbury, Aotearoa New Zealand. Her research includes vocational education and training pedagogy and systems, and technology-enhanced learning. The scholarship informs her work on curriculum design and academic/research capability development. In addition to journal articles, her recent publications include two monographs, 'Identity, Pedagogy and Technology-enhanced' (2202) and 'Digitally Enabling ‘Learning by Doing’ in Vocational Education' (2021); and an edited book 'Reshaping Vocational Education and Training in Aotearoa New Zealand' (2022). Selena is also the co-editor of the International Journal of Training Research, and on the editorial board of the Journal of Vocational Education and Training Research.
