Christos Antonios Kakalis is a Senior Lecturer in Architecture at Newcastle University, UK. He is a registered architect and holds a PhD in Architecture from the Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (E.S.A.L.A). His work focuses on the conditions of embodied experience of the architecture and natural landscape with special emphasis on the role of atmosphere. David Boyd is a Reader in Architecture in the Department of Architecture, Planning and Landscape (SAPL) at Newcastle University, UK. His work involves combining creative practice with research into lightweight structures and sustainable housing.
