She has 13 years of research experience in the field of nanoscience and nanocellulose with 21 publications in international peer reviewed journals and 23 book chapters and four edited books. She has won the Young Scientist Award in 2011, in the International Conference jointly organised by Leed’s University London and NIT Calicut.   She was the recipient of foreign scholarships from University of Potsdam-Germany, University of Mara-Malaysia, Institute of Chemistry-Austria, for in depth research in the field of Nano science. She is an approved research guide of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, in the subject area Chemical sciences.Ms. Rini Thresia Varghese is currently pursuing doctoral research from Newman College Thodupuzha, Kerala, India under the affiliation of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India. She obtained her M. Phil degree with first rank in Polymer Chemistry from School of Chemical Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University,     Kottayam, Kerala, India and a Post graduate degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from   Sacred Heart College, Thevara, Kochi, Kerala. She is a passionate chemist with a profound research experience in different fields and is presently pursuing her research works in the field of nanocellulose and polymer nanocomposites.
