Genetic Testing in Reproductive Medicine

Dr. Rajender Singh is a Senior Principal Scientist and Professor of Biology at the Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), Lucknow, India. He has been working as a scientist in this institute for the last 16 years. His research interests lie in genetics and genomics of male reproduction and infertility with specific emphasis on sperm RNAs and epigenome. Dr. Singh has published more than 150 research articles, 36 book chapters and 3 books in the area of reproductive biology. Dr. Singh is serving as an associate editor for Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology, Reproductive Health and Andrologia journals, and as Andrology Specialty Chief Editor for Frontiers in Reproductive Health journal. His work has been recognized by a number of prestigious scientific bodies in the form of Haryana Yuva Vigyan Ratna Award (2018), the INDO US Post-doctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2017), the Innovative Young Biotechnologist Award from the Department of Biotechnology (2015), the Young Scientist Award from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (2014), the Young Scientist Award from the Indian Science Congress Association (2012), the Young Scientist Award from the Indian National Scientific Academy (2011) and the Young Scientist Award from the Indian Society of Human Genetics (2006). He is a member of the Indian Society for the study of Reproduction and Fertility (ISSRF), Indian Fertility Society (IFS), the Indian Society of Human Genetics (ISHG). ​
