Die postkoloniale Theologie ist in den letzten Jahren zu einem der wichtigsten und innovativsten Felder innerhalb der interkulturellen Theologie avanciert. TheologInnen aus Asien, Afrika und Lateinamerika haben begonnen, die Konstruktionen postkolonialer Identitäten theologisch zu reflektieren. Dabei nehmen sie Bezug auf kulturwissenschaftliche Diskurse, die in den letzten Jahren an Bedeutung gewonnen haben. Bislang sind allerdings postkoloniale theologische Entwürfe im deutschsprachigen Raum weitgehend unbekannt geblieben. Dieser Band führt zunächst in die Entwicklungsgeschichte und gegenwärtige zentrale Positionen der postkolonialen Theologie ein. Daran anschließend werden die wichtigsten Aufsätze aus den letzten Jahren erstmals in deutscher Übersetzung publiziert, um Studierenden und allen Interessierten den Zugang zu dieser theologischen Richtung zu erleichtern.

Postcolonial theologies have positioned themselves over recent decades as an innovative new direction and critical inquiry not only in the field of intercultural theology, but also in practically every subdiscipline within theology. Such theologies are concerned with overcoming Eurocentric perspectives that sometimes shape scholarship even today. The aim of postcolonial theologies is to decolonize theological work. While the first volume (2013) gathered together the most important translated texts in this field, the present volume offers well-founded essays on every field within theology. An inventory of postcolonial theologies is now available for the first time. Scholars in the various subdisciplines within theology provide information about the state of the debate in their own fields and sound out the opportunities and limitations represented by postcolonial theologies.

Wie wird Postkolonialismus padagogisch umgesetzt?In diesem Band entwickeln deutsche und internationale Stimmen die Themen postkolonialer Theologie weiter und beziehen sie auf die Forderung nach Klimagerechtigkeit. Okologische Fragestellungen werden postkolonial neu gedacht. Der Band entwirft damit das bunte Bild einer theologischen Klimapadagogik im Anthropozan.
