Die menschliche Entwicklung ist seit jeher von einer gesicherten Energieversorgung abhängig, die heute aus Gründen der Machbarkeit und der Umweltbelastungen global betrachtet werden muss. Angesichts eines weltweit steigenden Energiebedarfs kommt der sicheren und preiswerten Bereitstellung von Energie daher eine Schlüsselrolle in der menschlichen Entwicklung zu. Auf der Basis der heutigen und zukünftig möglichen Energietechnologien sowie der Kenntnisse der zur Verfügung stehenden Ressourcen erarbeitet die Studie Beurteilungen der weltweiten Energieversorgung unter Einbeziehung wirtschaftlicher und umweltverträglicher Kriterien. Es werden ferner Aspekte der Langfristigkeit, der Sozialverträglichkeit und der Verteilungsgerechtigkeit in den Diskurs einbezogen.

Die deutsche Sprache hat sich innerhalb Europas als Teil einer europäischen Sprachengemeinschaft entwickelt. Von besonderem wissenschaftlichen Interesse ist die Frage, wie sich Sprachen untereinander beeinflussen, verändern und mit welchen methodischen Zugängen und Sprachressourcen das zu untersuchen ist. Der ständige Austausch zwischen diesen Sprachen und die politischen Rahmenbedingungen in der Europäischen Union werfen darüber hinaus konkrete sprach- und bildungspolitische Fragen auf.

CLARIN, the "Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure", has established itself as a major player in the field of research infrastructures for the humanities. This volume provides a comprehensive overview of the organization, its members, its goals and its functioning, as well as of the tools and resources hosted by the infrastructure. The many contributors representing various fields, from computer science to law to psychology, analyse a wide range of topics, such as the technology behind the CLARIN infrastructure, the use of CLARIN resources in diverse research projects, the achievements of selected national CLARIN consortia, and the challenges that CLARIN has faced and will face in the future. The book will be published in 2022, 10 years after the establishment of CLARIN as a European Research Infrastructure Consortium by the European Commission (Decision 2012/136/EU). Researchers in many disciplines have been concerned with modeling textual data in order to account for texts as the primary information unit of written communication. The book “Modelling, Learning and Processing of Text-Technological Data Structures” deals with this challenging information unit. It focuses on theoretical foundations of representing natural language texts as well as on concrete operations of automatic text processing. Following this integrated approach, the present volume includes contributions to a wide range of topics in the context of processing of textual data. This relates to the learning of ontologies from natural language texts, the annotation and automatic parsing of texts as well as the detection and tracking of topics in texts and hypertexts. In this way, the book brings together a wide range of approaches to procedural aspects of text technology as an emerging scientific discipline.

Das vorliegende Lehrbuch vermittelt den Umgang mit dem „Advanced Planner and Optimizer“ (APO) der SAP AG anhand eines durchgehenden Fallbeispiels. In Übungen wird die betriebswirtschaftliche Theorie IT-seitig veranschaulicht. Das vorliegende Lehrbuch basiert auf einer mehrjährigen Lehr- sowie Beratungstätigkeit und führt die Studierenden über das fiktive Unternehmen „IDES“, das von der SAP AG in Schulungssystemen sowohl für den Bereich „Enterprise Resource Planning“ (ERP) als auch für den APO abgebildet wurde, Schritt für Schritt durch die Anwendung. Von der Übertragung der Stamm- und Bewegungsdaten zwischen dem ERP- und dem APO-System über die Konfiguration eines überschaubaren Supply Networks, die Erstellung einer Planungsmappe mit unterschiedlichen Zeitreihenverfahren für die Absatzplanung bis zur Erzeugung von SNP- und Produktionsaufträgen werden alle wichtigen Themen ausführlich mit Übungen behandelt.Dozentinnen und Dozenten können auf Basis des Lehrbuchs ihre Lehrveranstaltung im SAP APO gestalten.

The general markup language XML has played an outstanding role in the mul- ple ways of processing electronic documents, XML being used either in the design of interface structures or as a formal framework for the representation of structure or content-related properties of documents. This book in its 13 chapters discusses aspects of XML-based linguistic information modeling combining: methodological issues, especially with respect to text-related information modeling, applicati- oriented research and issues of formal foundations. The contributions in this book are based on current research in Text Technology, Computational Linguistics and in the international domain of evolving standards for language resources. Rec- rent themes in this book are markup languages, explored from different points of view, and topics of text-related information modeling. These topics have been core areas of the research Unit "Text-technological Information Modeling" (www. te- technology. de) funded from 2002 to 2009 by the German Research Foundation (DFG).Positions developed in this book could also bene t from the presentations and discussion at the conference "Modelling Linguistic Information Resources" at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research (Zentrum fur .. interdisziplinare ..
