It focuses on theoretical foundations of representing natural language texts as well as on concrete operations of automatic text processing. Following this integrated approach, the present volume includes contributions to a wide range of topics in the context of processing of textual data. This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Artificial General Intelligence, AGI 2013, held in Beijing, China, in July/August 2013. The volume collects the current research endeavors devoted to develop formalisms, algorithms, and models, as well as systems that are targeted at general intelligence.
