El libro surge en un contexto de incertidumbre derivada de la situación de pandemia vivida estos últimos años, en el cual la presencia de determinadas tecnologías se ha incrementado y estas han pasado a utilizarse en escenarios antes impensables. De hecho, las circunstancias han impulsado enormemente el acercamiento y el uso de las tecnologías digitales tanto en el aula como en el entorno de la enseñanza no presencial. De ahí la implementación y consolidación de nuevas modalidades de enseñanza. Este amoldamiento imperativo a un nuevo modelo de enseñanza virtual ha evidenciado, en muchos casos, la falta de recursos y de formación a la hora de desenvolvernos dentro del nuevo paradigma educativo.
