"Purple Light, Blue Frost" was published in 1944 and edited and modified by Hong Wang in 2020. The story occurred in Qing Dynasty that some knights and normal people sacrificed their lives to make two steel-cutting swords (Purple Light and Blue Frost) and used them to kill evils who falsely accused Nian Gengyao and caused his death in 1726. Nian was a commander-in-chief of the forces sent to quell the uprising of the rebel of Qinghai, and was thereupon raised to a Duke of the First Class.

"Embroidered Belt, Silver Dart" was published in 1947 and edited and modified by Hong Wang in 2021. The story occurred in the late Qing Dynasty. The young Liu Defei had outstanding martial arts skills. He once rescued a concubine Xiaofang who was abused in a wealthy family. After that, the two fell in love. The heroine Lu Bao''e, who was good at darts, also fell in love with Liu Defei. She accidentally killed Xiaofang with a dart. Lu Bao''e was remorseful and hanged herself. Liu Defei, then became mentally disordered.
