Artificial intelligence is no longer just a tool for automation; it is becoming the operating system of modern organizations. AI and Resilient Organizations explores how agentic, data-centric AI can enhance human creativity, ethics, and adaptability while building organizational resilience. This interdisciplinary volume bridges technology, governance, and human-centered design, offering actionable insights for navigating the complexities of Industry 5.0 and beyond. It combines real-world case studies with rigorous research to demonstrate how artificial intelligence (AI), Large Language Model (LLM)-e.g. powered data agents, and circular business models are transforming sectors like education, startups, and enterprise. It situates these developments within the European regulatory framework, including the AI Act, GDPR, showing how trust-based innovation can drive global competitiveness. Readers will gain practical guidance on managing digital sovereignty, operationalizing ethics-by-design, and building AI-resilient organizations capable of thriving in complex, rapidly evolving environments. Methodologically diverse, it blends empirical surveys, design-science modeling, and applied machine-learning experiments, ensuring academic rigor and practical relevance.Designed for researchers, policymakers, leaders, and entrepreneurs seeking to move beyond AI hype and implement people-first strategies, this is an essential resource for postgraduate and executive programs in information systems, digital innovation, organizational strategy, and AI governance.
Semantic Multimedia
5th International Conference on Semantic and Digital Media Technologies, SAMT 2010, Saarbrücken, Germany, December 1-3, 2010, Revised Selected Papers
Häftad, Engelska, 2011

Skickas inom 10-15 vardagar
This book constitutes the revised selected papers of the 5th International Conference on Semantics and Digital Media Technologies, SAMT 2010, held in Saarbrücken, Germany, in December 2010. As a result of a highly selective review procedure, 12 full papers and 4 short papers were accepted for publication. The contributions present novel approaches for managing, distributing and accessing large amounts of multimedia material. The topics covered include semantic search, analysis and retrieval of images, audio, video, 3D/4D material as well as of computer generated multimedia content. Also addressed are issues relating to semantic metadata management, semantic user interfaces, and semantics in visualization and computer graphics.
Time-of-Flight and Depth Imaging. Sensors, Algorithms and Applications
Dagstuhl Seminar 2012 and GCPR Workshop on Imaging New Modalities

Cameras for 3D depth imaging, using either time-of-flight (ToF) or structured light sensors, have received a lot of attention recently and have been improved considerably over the last few years. The present techniques make full-range 3D data available at video frame rates, and thus pave the way for a much broader application of 3D vision systems.A series of workshops have closely followed the developments within ToF imaging over the years. Today, depth imaging workshops can be found at every major computer vision conference. The papers presented in this volume stem from a seminar on Time-of-Flight Imaging held at Schloss Dagstuhl in October 2012. They cover all aspects of ToF depth imaging, from sensors and basic foundations, to algorithms for low level processing, to important applications that exploit depth imaging. In addition, this book contains the proceedings of a workshop on Imaging New Modalities, which was held at the German Conference on Pattern Recognition in Saarbrücken, Germany, in September 2013. A state-of-the-art report on the Kinect sensor and its applications is followed by two reports on local and global ToF motion compensation and a novel depth capture system using a plenoptic multi-lens multi-focus camera sensor.
