Essay from the year 2015 in the subject Leadership and Human Resources - Miscellaneous, grade: B, Sophia Antipolis Campus (France); SKEMA Business School, language: English, abstract: Within my research paper I analyze how the further development of robotic devices will influence our working environment. Robots are going to change the global economy drastically. With severe effects on the job market, as recent studies outline. In the United Kingdom alone one third of jobs could be omitted due to the robot-revolution , in the United States with 47 percent even almost half. Especially in low-skilled job fields robots could take many working spaces of human beings, enormous social shifts would result. Even though a lot of people argue that technical advancement and therefore the further development of robotic devices bring advantages to our lives for the most part, we have to start to realise that robots may replace our jobs and therefore adapt to a changing work environment. More and more people are outcompeted by a non-living species an, unlikeable scenario that though will take place in the future and therefore people have to learn to deal with this new setting.

Essay from the year 2015 in the subject Sociology - Communication, grade: A-, Sophia Antipolis Campus (France); SKEMA Business School, language: English, abstract: Within this paper I outline the positive as well as the negative effects of the current situation regarding data protection. Futhermore I briefly analyze the current regulations in the European Union. It is the most controversial human right per se and the discussions about it are highly topical. No other human right is currently thus in the centre of the western world as this one. The right I m talking about is the right of privacy. Due to modern technologies, demographic changes, change of political, economic or social conditions and other developments, it is increasingly threatened. It is therefore important to consider whether it may be necessary due to the recent developments around the terrorist militia IS to abandon this right in order to ensure the protection of human beings. Monitoring, data protection and the glass man, these topics can be found almost daily in the media. Especially since several revelations around Wikileaks, the NSA and Edward Snowden, many people feel monitored. Often you open the mailbox and find advertising of companies, products, or travel-offers that you recently showed interest in. Additionally it is almost impossible to get around custom advertise when surfing through the World-Wide-Web. Google, Facebook and Co. are just some of many companies who know a lot of private things of their users. However, all these facts are in most societies merely associated only with disadvantages though surveillance can bring huge advantages to countries, especially nowadays. As we are living in a time where violence and terror attacks are on the daily agenda it becomes more and more important that governments know what people, living in their countries, are doing. The recent attacks in Paris show again that it is a necessity to survey people in order to prevent more of these incidents. Therefore it is important that governments give more insight in what type of data they are exactly collecting and for what purpose they do so.

They are special in the way that they are all specifically designed and adapted to various different sorts of drinks. This kind of industry is showing a high potential of growth nowadays as more people than ever before enjoy all kinds of drinks and as the demand of drinking a good quality of wine or also other alcoholic and also non- alcoholic drinks increases it is from big importance to use suitable glasses with different wines and drinks. Our goal is to establish our products on the European market and to generate a market share of around 5%. The company s long term goals are to expand and to establish the brand image. Furthermore the goal is to achieve a sustainable profit margin of 20%. The main group to target are middle aged working people who are looking for an increased experience when drinking wine. But also younger people focus more and more on the glasses they are using to drink wine and other alcoholic drinks and therefore represent a growing hope group. From 2017 to 2018 we prospect an increase in sales of about 20% and from 2018 to 2019 of about 16%.This proves to our investors that we have steady growth rates and that our business will expand further. To Generate break even we should sell about 7413 glasses in the first year. Our projection of 2017 however show sales of about 20700 glasses and is therefore 179% above the breakeven point. In the second year we are even 190% above the breakeven point.

The reasons are being presented from a financial perspective, presenting the necessary financial data that resulted in the financial loss of the firm, as well as the economic perspective that led to this disaster. Furthermore, troubles in the whole airline industries of recent decades are being highlighted through out the paper. The Air Berlin PLC & Co. Luftverkehrs KG i.I, with seat in Berlin and basis on the airport Berlin Tegel was a German airline. It was a wholly owned subsidiary of the listed Air Berlin PLC, whose largest single shareholder was the Emirati Etihad Airways. On 15 August 2017, Air Berlin requested the opening of insolvency proceedings, the self-economic operation was continued with the help of a federal guarantee until 27 of October 2017. Parts of the company, including the business at Tegel Airport and its subsidiary LGW, were sold to Lufthansa and easyJet. The last airline of Air Berlin, Belair, filed for bankruptcy in mid-August 2018. In order to work out the causes for this bankruptcy, I will also give some more insight on the history of the company.
