Den 11 november 2011 vann Solna tingsrätts friande dom i målet mot en kvinnlig narkosläkare på Astrid Lindgrens barnsjukhus laga kraft. Då hade det gått 984 dagar sedan hon gripits på sin arbetsplats på morgonen och anhållits, misstänkt för att drygt fem månader tidigare ha berövat en liten för tidigt född flicka livet. Orsaken var att man vid en obduktion av flickan påträffat exceptionellt höga halter av narkosmedlet tiopental och morfin i ett blodprov.
